Initial inspection - Free 

Did you buy a radio online, garage sale or hamfest and want to know if it's worth fixing ? 

I will do up to a half hour inspection

10M and 11M Transceiver Alignments - $25.00

Meter replacement, repair and or customization - $15.00 per meter plus parts

custom face meters are available for select radios

Echo board / Roger Beep / Noise Toy installation - $20.00 plus board cost

many echo boards are available and costs vary depending on manufacturer and quality

RFX install - $150.00 (on/off switch $10.00 extra)

Includes RFX unit and transciever alignment

*Amplifier use is illegal on 11 m band and is installed for educational use only and not for on air use

Radio Basic Service - $45.00

Complete inspection of radio, Deoxit on all switches and pots, alignment

Does NOT include any mods or other repairs needed

Radio Full Service - $75.00 plus capacitors cost

Complete inspection of radio, cleaning, recap labor, Deoxit, alignment

If your radio has the old corrosive glue, an additional $10.00 will be added

Base / Mobile Microphone Basic Service - $15.00

Includes full inspection, cleaning, Deoxit

Does NOT include other repairs needed

Base Microphone Full Service - $25.00 plus caps

Includes full inspection, cleaning, Deoxit, recap labor

Does NOT include other repairs needed

Microphone End Plug Install - $10.00 plus cost of plug

Includes all plug styles, 4 pin, 5 pin, 6 pin, DIN ect...

Variable RF Power - $15.00-$45.00

Varies greatly depending if it's a base or mobile, drilling for a new potentiometer if needed and components used

We make coax and power cables made to your needs

Do to cost and time of install, we no longer install DDS VFOs of any type

Restoration/Custom - Contact for Estimate 

This is where we stand out from the other shops.  We offer refinishing, restaining of real wood radio cabinets, refinishing of old or rusty metal covers, faceplates, bezels, custom colors, knobs ect...

We work with several decal shops to make custom decals, faceplates and wraps for many CBs

Shipping

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from Pulsar CB Repair.  We suggest you pack your radio properly to prevent damage. We are not liable for damages to and from Pulsar CB repair.  We make every effort to make sure all radios are packed correctly to prevent damage.  Even still, damage may happen.  Radios may fall out of alignment if they are dropped and or banged around.  While this doesn't happen often, it is a risk.  If you require shipping insurance, let us know before hand. We cannot control how shipping carriers handle packages.  

Pulsar CB Repair reserves the right to deny customer's repairs and or services at any point in the repair process.  Prices are subject to change without notice.

Repair times vary greatly depending on how many radios are in line for repair, availability of parts and or custom work wanted.  Times may be a few days to several months. Make sure to ask if this is an issue.
